Key Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities : Engage with potential customers through proactive communication channels, including phone calls and emails, to showcase and promote Geo-Plus solutions.
• Cultivate potential leads : Work closely with the sales team to qualify leads and ensure a smooth transition through the sales process.
• Create a great first impression : Provide exceptional initial interaction with prospects and customers, laying the foundation for a long-lasting business relationship.
• Assess customer needs : Understand and analyze customer requirements to determine the suitability of Geo-Plus solutions for their business objectives.
• Manage various lead sources : Handle leads from different channels, including inbound calls, emails, and online requests, ensuring efficient and timely responses.
• CRM Management : Use customer relationship management (CRM) systems to log and update all communications, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Strategic Collaboration : Work in partnership with the Director of Business Development to develop and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Other Duties : Perform any other task defined by management in support of the company’s objectives.

Requirements

• Education : A first-level university degree is desired, but not required. Relevant experience and skills suitable for the requirements of the position will be considered.
• Communication Skills : Excellent oral and written communication skills, combined with active listening to provide exceptional customer service.
• Sales acumen : Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, with a good understanding of sales processes and strategies.
• Adaptability : Proven ability to operate in a competitive environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Assets

• Industry knowledge : Familiarity with the AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) industry is a strong asset.
• Software Sales Experience : Experience selling software, especially SaaS products, is highly desired.
• Proficiency with CRMs : Experience with CRM platforms is a plus.
• Multilingual skills : Fluency in other languages in addition to English is considered an asset.
• Geomatics expertise : Experience or knowledge in geomatics is an advantage.
• Customer Service Experience : Previous experience in customer service roles is appreciated.
